Deepak took us to fun spots that I wouldn’t have ventured into on my own. Do come hungry; you’ll eat a lot. Finally, Deepak is knowledgeable about Nepal and can answer any questions you have.”

2-hour walking food tour in Kathmandu through Indra Chowk and Kathmandu Durbar Square. All snacks included with a small group guide.

“Should definitely try this tour if you’re a foodie to get a local knowledge of what and where the locals eat! The places are ofc not the most cleanest of environments but the food is great and it’s been 2 days since and none of us have had an upset stomach or anything. Dakhsung (if I’m spelling his name correctly) was a wonderful guide and took us to places that weren’t even on gmaps. Some places are literally like walking into a narnia closet, you wouldn’t know there’s a world inside a door in a small alley! We were vegetarians and there was 0 issue in getting vegetarian food!”

From the beginning of the walk, there was plenty of explanation given about the city and its diverse cultures, making the experience both informative and engaging. During the walk, we visited places that would otherwise be difficult for tourists to find. These hidden spots offered a unique perspective on the city and added deeper meaning to the tour. One of the highlights of the tour was tasting various local dishes. The diversity of the dishes was remarkable, and each dish had its own character that beautifully reflected the local flavors. The food was…”
